JOB DESCRIPTION:

Marc Jacobs, one of the leading global fashion companies, is looking for a motivated, highly analytical and entrepreneurial Manager, Global Email Marketing who can partner with our Digital Marketing Director to develop and drive the email marketing, SMS & CRM strategies for Marc Jacobs that will optimize traffic and conversion for our digital properties, drive recency, frequency and customer lifetime value and will support key brand initiatives.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Marketing Program Execution:

  • Manage email & SMS strategy and calendar; perform daily sends in Salesforce Marketing Cloud [email] and Attentive [SMS]
  • Prepare custom audiences for targeted sends; build automated email & SMS journeys
  • Create weekly reports around email & SMS performance and key creative insights
  • Submit & drive briefing process with internal design team for email, SMS & CRM assets
  • Refer to monthly integrated digital marketing calendar & communicate actively with internal partners to ensure we deliver a consistent and integrated branded experience and messaging across all platforms and mediums
  • Collaborate closely with Japan E-Commerce team to translate U.S. CRM and email strategy to local market; lead weekly calls with this team, understand priorities from a customer and merchandising perspective, and help facilitate creative asset development


Strategy and Planning:

  • Help to inform annual and seasonal marketing plans to engage and activate newly acquired customers, and re-engage existing customers and drive up repeat rate
  • Drive the creation of weekly CRM strategy decks highlighting ongoing & future initiatives
  • Collaborate on hind-sighting and competitive benchmarking to inform email and CRM strategies and planning, as well as campaign execution and process improvement


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or a related discipline, coupled with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of online marketing, email and CRM strategy management; experience with fashion and/or lifestyle brands preferred
  • Solid understanding of consumer brand marketing principles with the ability to translate brand strategies into effective email, SMS and CRM programs that meet strategic objectives.
  • Proven success in working with creative and media planning agencies using strong briefing, project management, creative development, data management
  • Strong analytical skills required; comfort preparing reports for senior-level stakeholders
  • Highly strategic thinker with ability to cultivate long-term vision & short-term execution plan
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Agile and flexible with regards to changing priorities and business needs
  • High proficiency in Excel, Google Analytics
