Position Summary
We are looking for a Manager - Marketing Automation Solutions Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our marketing automation and customer engagement solutions. This role will be instrumental in creating a seamless omnichannel retail experience , integrating online shopping with in-store and phone interactions.
As a key technical expert, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Marketing, and Analytics, to architect scalable, data-driven solutions that enhance customer interactions across digital and physical channels.
Key Responsibilities
- A rchitect and Optimize Marketing Automation Solutions: Design, develop, and implement marketing automation strategies that enhance customer engagement across email, SMS, web, and in-store experiences.
- C ustomer Data Platform (CDP) Integration: Leverage CDP technology to unify customer data, enable advanced segmentation, and drive hyper-personalized marketing campaigns that bridge online and offline touchpoints.
- S alesforce Marketing Cloud & CRM Integration: Ensure seamless integration of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other CRM technologies with our broader marketing tech stack, supporting both digital and in-store experiences.
- O mnichannel Customer Journeys: Develop and optimize customer journeys that connect online shopping, in-store visits, and phone interactions to create a frictionless retail experience.
- D ata-Driven Decision Making: Collaborate with the analytics team to develop data models and insights that improve campaign performance and customer engagement across all touchpoints.
- P rocess Automation & Optimization: Identify and implement workflow automations that improve marketing efficiency, customer experiences, and communication between digital and in-store teams.
- C ross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and drive adoption of best practices.
- C ompliance & Best Practices: Ensure all marketing automation efforts adhere to industry regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA) and maintain data security best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5 + years of experience in email marketing, marketing automation, and/or web development.
- 2 + years of experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs).
- Strong expertise in S alesforce Marketing Cloud (or other industry-leading marketing automation platform), CDP platforms, and CRM integrations.
- Experience with d ata architecture, segmentation strategies, and omnichannel marketing automation.
- Proficiency in H TML, CSS, and AMPscript for email and web personalization.
- Strong understanding of A PI integrations and data flow between marketing platforms.
- Proven track record of designing scalable m arketing automation workflows and customer journeys.
Preferred Qualifications
- S alesforce Technical Architect certification is a strong plus.
- M usical experience is a strong plus.
- Experience with S QL, JavaScript, or other scripting languages for automation.
- Background in r etail, e-commerce, or omnichannel marketing.
- Familiarity with A I-driven marketing and predictive analytics tools.

Pay Rate: $115,000 - $130,000/yr depending on background and experience.
This position is eligible to participate in the Guitar Center Company bonus program based on Company performance.
