Email Marketing Manager

(Locations: Preference could include Santa Fe Springs, Charlotte, Houston or Nashville but work can be done remote)

This is an exciting time within our company as we are in an organic and inorganic growth phase and we are seeking an experienced Email marketer to join our growing marketing team as an Email Marketing Manager. The role will be responsible for owning and expanding all aspects of our email program. This role will also be responsible for managing the growth, integrity and quality of our CRM database for optimal segmentation of campaigns.
This is a new role in a growing team that has an increased focus on using all aspects of digital marketing to drive lead generation. You can really make your mark in an area of focus for the business. Ellison Technologies is a successful, $300MM, growing, 66 year old company with ambitions to get to $1 billion in revenues.
We will be flexible to get the right talent in this role. This is remote position, but ideally the person wil be close to our HR in Los Angeles (Santa Fe Springs) or any one of our 16 regional offices – with a preference for Charlotte, Houston or Nashville.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
CRM database management – Centralize, cleanse, append and grow our database in a prioritized way that grows our accessible market and increases our visibility. Work with internal and external resources to identify and improve our ability to segment and target specific customer groups.
Lead generating email programs – Lead, develop and implement a calendar-based email strategy – with components that are both parts of larger, integrated campaigns, as well as stand alone programs.
Nurture programs – Lead, develop and implement a nurture program that has the dual objective of both progressively profiling as well as nurturing prospects through to MQL’s that can be handed to the sales team.
Content creation – Create email content. This includes item level content specific emails as well as the development and use of best practice templates and techniques – designed to maximize open rates and click-through-rates.
Testing and optimization – Utilize A/B testing and other approaches to optimize key metrics and drive continuous improvement.

This new Email Marketing role will be part of an internal digital team of 3, with an expectation to work cross functionally with additional marketing staff and regional sales leaders with a reporting relationship to Keith Armold, Ellison’s Director of Digital Marketing. Keith works remotely, close to Ellison’s Houston office.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLSET
Email marketing program building within a B2B solution marketing environment – Experience for brands with a solution based go to market strategy that includes some type of high value technical hardware/capital equipment + accessories + software + service.
Martech familiarity - Advanced knowledge of working with Salesforce, Pardot marketing automation platform or a similar CRM or Email management tools.
Capability building, backed by results – The interview process will include an expectation that the candidate will be able to show KPI’s that can back this up.
5+ years of strategizing, planning and implementing email programs for high value B2B solutions
3+ years of graphic design, HTML and template editing.
3+ years of database management, analytics, A/B testing and reporting of success metrics.
3+ years of communicating and presenting to Sales Leaders and Executive Level audiences.
