The Email and Marketing Automation Specialist position will assist with the development and delivery of automation campaigns and strategies - you'll have a core emphasis on e-commerce, but also comfortable making emails that are for a B2B audience.
This individual will pursue continued learning of Marketing Automation best practices to enhance the execution of ExitCertified (Tech Data) and maximize customer value and campaign results.
This role will be very influential with ensuring we hit customers and prospects with the right message, the right time!
This position is not eligible for Relocation.
This is a Remote Position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:
Prepare modern marketing (Pardot) emails and campaigns based on Marketing Automation process.
Plan, prepare and launch marketing automations that reaches various stages of the customer journey.
Perform QA process for emails, landing pages, forms, and other automation pieces.
Assist with Pardot data hygiene, system maintenance and lead management.
Assist in list management (Data List and imports)
Monitor program performance and develop necessary reports/reporting structure
Participate in strategy, customer journey design and content development for new campaigns.
Support Pardot program development for all business units.
Participate in setup of A/B testing of Marketing Automation programs in Pardot.
Participate with continued assessment of new platforms and integrations for Pardot to enhance Marketing Automation performance.
Participate in cross-functional digital marketing projects that include Marketing Automation.
Work with various stakeholders across the marketing team.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
2 years (or more) Pardot experience.
2 year (or more) or similar experience.
2 years’ experience of monitoring and using data to adopt data-driven marketing decisions and campaign plans.
Experience participating in planning integrated digital marketing plans.
Understanding and proven practice of the following tactics: testing frameworks such as, deliverability, A/B split testing, and tracking.
Problem solving ability and consideration of process improvements.
Excellent organizational and communications skills with a strong attention to detail.
Web development and digital design skills (HTML preferred, but not required).
Knowledge of Google Analytics Tag Manager, Google Universal Analytics, and general web tracking desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business/Marketing Operations, or equivalent experience.
Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
